A rubber manufacturing plant in Lugela district, Zambézia province, is now operating on a trial basis, Radio Mozambique reports. The project began in 2014, with the planting of 500 hectares of rubber palms. The company, the report adds, has use and exploitation (DUAT) land title to about 4,000 hectares in Lugela district, for the planting of rubber trees and subsequent processing.
